About JJ Thomas
For having one of the longest careers in snowboarding JJ has truly reached the “legend” status in the industry. In 2002 JJ made U.S history when he took home a bronze medal in the winter Olympics, and then a gold in X-games, and 10 years later became the Dew Tour Champion. But contest riding only scratches the surface for JJ as he’s a true powder hound and is featured in Travis Rice’s movie “That’s It, That’s All”. JJ grew up in Golden, Colorado surrounded by the world’s best snowboarders, and it was obvious that the company he surrounded himself by paid off at a young age for him. Now JJ can be found poaching the pipe at the US Open and making turns in untracked powder with his friends all winter.
